McDevitt Electrical & Controls Ltd are a leading design and manufacturing company. We specialise in control panel manufacture, these can be supplied as stand-alone systems or as part of a console, wall-mounted or floor standing.

All our control panels are designed, built and tested in accordance with the highest industry standards. Every control panel is verified against our internal test criteria, the applicable regulations and the associated design documentation/specification.

Our designs take into account a host of factors before a panel design can be released to the workshop, including:

Form 1:

Form 1 control panels have no internal separation for functional units or terminations. Busbars are not separated from the functional units. Functional units are not separated from other functional units. Functional Units are not separated from any incoming or outgoing termination. Busbars are not separated from any incoming or outgoing terminations.

Form 2:

Form 2 control panels have internal separation of the bus bars from functional units. Busbars are separated from functional units. Functional units are not separated from other functional units. Functional Units are separated from any incoming or outgoing termination. Busbars are not separated from any incoming or outgoing terminations. There are various Form 2 Control Panels: Form 2a, Form 2 Type 1, Form 2 Type 2.

Form 3:

Form 3 control panels have internal separation of the bus bars from functional units and separation of all functional units from each other. Busbars are separated from functional units. Functional units are separated from each other. Functional units are separated from incoming and outgoing terminals. Incoming and outgoing terminals are not separated from each other. There are various Form 3 Control Panels: Form 3a, Form 3b Type 1, Form 3b Type 2.

Form 4:

Form 4 control panels have internal separation of the busbar system from functional units, and separation of all functional units from each other. Incoming and outgoing terminals are also required to be separated from the busbars and from each other. Busbars are separated from functional units. Functional units are separated from each other. Terminations to functional units are separated from each other. There are many different types of Form 4 Control Panels: Form 4a Type 1, Form 4a Type 2, Form 4a Type 3, Form 4b Type 4, Form 4b Type 5, Form4b Type 6, Form4b Type 7
